tinted mopisturiser with spf 15+ for pale, sensitive skin?

I currently use dermalogica ultra sensitive faceblock spf25, which is good protection but can block my pores if I use it every day.
I've tried Laura Mercier and it gave me lots of break outs.
I've also tried Aveeno, but it gave me an allergic reaction.
Plus I've used Bare Minerals, the one with the inbuilt brush, but the brush aggravated my skin and made it dry and itchy.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Finding the ideal product is proving costly and I can't afford to waste more money on the wrong thing.

I love Boots No7 tinted moisturiser in fair. It is SPF15 and has v good UVA protection, I think poss 5 star but obv double check the packaging!! It's now called 'triple protection tinted moisturiser', I think. It's not too pricey, either.

Sad to hear Laura Mercier made you break out... I love that stuff. I have to be v careful with new products as most of them do the same to me, but LM has always been great.

The only other one that worked was Olay 7 signs tinted moisturiser. It's got Max Factor added to it but I found the colour too dark. It might work for the summer months though, and it's pretty cheap. I've never had skin problems with the Olay 7 signs range, it's my trusty fallback.

I use Bwobby Brown tinted moisturiser. I've had mine for a while so the label has worn off and I can't see the SPF but I'm pretty sure it's higher than 15. I have pale sensitive skin and this suits me well. It smells divine and has a lovely finish.

Lancome, lancome, lancome!! It is seriously amazing. I LOVE it.

DrNortherner · 21/04/2011 07:55

Lancome is SPF 15

I use Clinique Super City Block SPF 40 (I live in a hot and extremely polluted part of the world so taking no chances!) Think it also comes in a SPF 25 option too. It's hypoallergenic which is great as I have very sensitive skin, protects against UV and pollution, and the tint is good for paler skin tones.

Wyke129 - was interested to hear that you use Bobbi Brown. I've used the Laura Mercier one for pale skin too but it's running out and I'm thinking of trying another one. Is it for dry skin or oily - do you know?

Clarins sell the SPF separately. It's so thin and you can use it over what ever moisturiser you fancy! They have amazing tinted moisturisers coming out. I'm trialing them at the moment. Think there out end of may? A..mazing!

Clinique have a new tinted moisturiser coming out next week according to the lady on my local dept store counter. I am holding out to try that. I'm using their anti-redness foundation atm, but it is too much coverage for the heat.

THanks for your replies. I think a trip to the beauty counters is in order, so I can try some out.

I hadn't realised that No7 was so good- the reviews are very positive. I have always loved Hydra Zen, so that's on my short list too, and I haven't used Clinique for years, so I'll investigate that too. I don't know of any local BB stockists, so that might need to be held in reserve until I can get a trip to my local city without the kids.

Thank you all, some excellent ideas to research.

Frizzbonce- I have dry skin and it suits me. I bought it a couple of years ago now (it's near the end) so i can't remember what i was told but I think they said it is for dry skin. I'd recommend it definitely, I love the slight shimmery finish.
