Have Boden changed their delivery company?

Wasnt it always the post office? I got a card through yesterday and was expecting to just go to my local post office. Ive just noticed that I have to call them and rearrange the delivery, I cant just pick it up.

Im going away tomorrow. What will become of my red clogs? Sad Im not home for a week.

My stuff is delivered by mix of courier and post office.

Can't believe you still haven't had your clogs, Kittya. Didn't you order them last week?

kittya · 20/04/2011 10:48

Yes I did!! My neighbour has moved and next doors is empty. They used to take in all my Boden parcels, Im missing them like mad.

Thats the clogs and those two siky tops I ordered that I wont have to take away with me. Its very dissappointing.

Why don't you ask them when you call if you can collect? If you explain the situation, they should be helpful - I've had cards like that before and have been able to go to the depot once I've explained that there will never be anyone in in the daytime and they will be wasting their driver's time . . .

Ive rang Boden and they are ever so helpful. I cant fault their customer care. They said that they are going to get intouch with the company and see if I can get the delivery first thing in the morning. I doubt that will happen but it was good of them to try.

Their collections office is miles away in Wembley but I suppose I have no option then to try and find it. I have an awful feeling that the Boden shop is there too. Ive never been to a boden shop before......

Bloody hell, the delivery company wont let me just go in like that I have to give 24 hours notice.

Thats that then.

Make a big fuss with Boden. I had problems with the delivery company they sometimes use here (stuff left outside and stolen, goods damaged, packages opened etc). In the end they put a note on my file that my deliveries were to be Royal Mail only.

Doesn't help you for this time and your holiday though :(

I had a similar thing - the first ever delivery I had from Boden was a (very late) farce, and they have since changed their courier in my area and everything's been fine since. Whatever you think about Boden, I ahve to say their customer service is always spot on.

I like to think it is all due to me! ;)

Hi,

I had this problem in the last few months.

Once they put my parcel on top of the recyle bin on bin day and i can only assume the bin men nicked it. I was really peeved as they no longer had that item in stock. :( They refunded me and gave me a £20 credit tho...

Then about a month later i ordered stuff for xmas and it never arrived. The bloody delivery co wouldn't rearrange a date as tehy were so busy before xmas, said they would just turn up with it, but didn't know when... then they randomly decided to sent it back to boden on the 23rd dec without ever sending it back here... Boden were very apologetic and gave me £25 credit.

I don't get why some are royal mail and others aren't.
