If I promise it's ONLY for the kids and ONLY for the garden/ swimming pool and definitely NOT for me...

can someone tell me where to get some cheap crock-a-likes for the DDs?
I'm not paying £28 for a bit of rubber foam but I know there are cheaper versions out there...
TIA

We got something similar from Clarks last summer for our DSs beach shoes. They did rub their feet though (or that could have been DSs trying to get out of wearing them and back in to their much cooler Converse Hmm )

SaggyHairyArse · 20/04/2011 10:19

£5 at Sportsdirect for the real ones.

notwavingjustironing · 20/04/2011 10:20

I paid £1.50 in Primark for the children's ones last year. They're still going strong.....

pingusmumtoo · 20/04/2011 10:21

Ebay or Costco .....

SummerRain · 20/04/2011 10:24

Lidl had them a couple of weeks back and ours still had a few pairs left last week. I picked up a pair for dyspraxic ds1 who can't put his own shoes on as he was driving me round the bend asking to have shoes put on 200 times a day now that they're in and out so much.

aftereight · 20/04/2011 11:14

Tesco £3 pink and blue

2madboys · 20/04/2011 12:05

Got some real ones at Costco this week. Have found the fake ones tend to lose their straps quite easily.

Paribus · 20/04/2011 14:47

amazon has sale for kids crocs now in some sizes and colours- worth checking out!

BertieBotts · 20/04/2011 14:55

Next for funky ones - crocodiles etc. £8 or£9 I think. Saw some marbled blue ones in QS the other day for £3 .

BertieBotts · 20/04/2011 14:57

Sizing is wonky in QS though, so try them on before buying.

moragbellingham · 20/04/2011 15:03

Tesco online - mine were £2.40

BikeRunSki · 20/04/2011 15:09

Most supermarkets.

Indith · 20/04/2011 15:27

You can get them anywhere! Picked them up for the dc in Sainsbury's this year. They ahve not worn their expensive, fitted, Clarks shoes since and I doubt they will now until the Autumn even on days when sheos really would make sense.

berri · 20/04/2011 17:16

Matalan are £3 or £4 depending on which style you choose.

doglover · 20/04/2011 17:32

I hate the snobbery about Crocs!! Ok, they're not exactly God's gift to fashion BUT they are cheap, practical, comfortable and GREAT for mucking around in the garden/beach etc. I'll be wearing mine (beach/garden only etc) for many years!!

FGM · 20/04/2011 20:56

Thank you everyone- loads of options to get them
