cool tops for large boobs and tums

I hate trying to dress relatively smartly for work in this weather. Always been large-ish of nork, a bit less so since dcs (2y and 1y). Now, however have 2-3 stone of excess baby weight which is still all round my middle. Nice wobbly tum with an overhang too.

I have a few passable pairs of dark linen trousers. What I really would like are some tops which are nice fabrics, woven, definitely not jersey as far too unforgiving - linen, or linen/cotton mix, or silk/silk cotton mix. I am imagining either a well-cut shirt or a plainish tunic top which have 3/4 length sleeves and cover my arse. Heaven would be the above style in a whole range of nice strong colours - I like dark rich colours (chocolate, deep red, deep greens and blues) or clear summery shades (rich pink, lighter green, sky blue). I very much like finding a good style in lots of colours. Don't mind a bit of subtle embroidery, but I don't want to look like I'm wearing a kaftan on the beach!

Am I a fantasist or can anyone suggest some options? Failing that I need to get creative with the sewing machine! Wink

this dress would look lovely over flared linen trousers. You could even get away with white if your bottom isn't in full moon. With some silver sandals or silver ballet flats and perhaps a shrug if you want to be sleeved.

I've suffered from large boobs since they first grew! My advice is to get a couple of decent bras - bravissimo are reasonably priced - as they make anything you wear immediately look better.

The tum? My daughter has that too. She wears tunic style tops that hide it very nicely!
