Free "Gift" with Boden Order!

I couldn't wait for it to arrive having read on here that some ladies had received a makeup bag or a scarf.

Postie came this morning and brought...... a couple of yards of bunting with "Boden" written all over it. WHAT does one do with such a gift? I'm not sure I could get away with wrapping it up and giving it to someone else simply because I don't know WTF TO do with it! Ideas?

You DO spoil us so, Johnnie B!!

Yes, that's BUNTING and free Boden advertising ........ you read it correctly.

Am in shock......think it's the bits of material left over from some kiddies frocks.

Phone them up to say that they have forgotten to include your free gift.

Feign ignorance, like it hasn't even occurred to you that anyone would consider a tatty piece of shit fabric to be a 'gift'.

and post live updates of your convo on here Grin

Sarky, I already phoned them last week to say "where is my free gift" (as promised when I made the order) as it wasn't in evidence, when my order arrived.....they apologised and said they'd forward it quickly (I must have sounded like I was foaming at the mouth, in anticipation).

And then .....BUNTING!!!

I'm a Northern lass. Is this what passes as a gift in the south? Up here, we'd clean the windows with it.

So phone them up all confused.
"I don't understand why you have sent me this fabric."
"What is it for?"
"Can you confirm when I will be receiving my gift."

maybe they will have some helpful suggestions...

You are sooo lucky!
My 'free gift' was a laithwaites wine voucher Hmm

JemimaMop · 19/04/2011 18:19

I had a Laithwaites wine voucher too Hmm

I would have rather had the bunting, the DC could at least have played with thet.

peppapighastakenovermylife · 19/04/2011 18:21

I had a scarf which I would never ever wear. Maybe I could make bunting out of it.

I'm just wondering if anyone else in my little avenue has Boden Bunting"? I only have about 4 metres. But, if we could add our bunting together....well that REALLY WOULD be something!!

Had email back from Boden and bunting is NOT "the gift" so, something else is on the way. Hope it's not a wine voucher. No, the bunting was "in the spirit" of the Prince William and Kate's nuptials. For my street party. Sadly, I intend to do no more than have a massive lie in, check out the wedding frock and some nuptials of my own, if I get lucky.

Therefore, I have told my DH that I will wear said Boden Bunting on the day of the Royal Wedding.....and now't else. Northern climate permitting.
