What is the sizing like for Mini Boden?

Hi,

I haven't ordered anything from Boden before but have seen a gorgeous party dress I'd like to get DD.

Most of her clothes are from Next and she wears size 2-3 in dresses, are Boden sizes similar?

Thanks

Not sure about girlswear but I have always sized up for boys clothes. You may find them a little roomy for the first season but not stupidly so. On the plus side, I almost always get two summer's wear out of their stuff for my DCs.

Check out the reviews for that particular item too as they are usually pretty good at pointing out sizing issues.

I think they are true to size... possibly a little roomy but as tulpe says not silly iykiwm.

ds is 4 and he fits a 3-4 and he is small for his age...

dd I think is in their size for her age 5...

It tends to be ds that I buy most stuff from boden for...

I agree with the others, fairly true to size and average but dresses invariably come up short. (possibly due to style) I'm always getting caught out, dd is quite titchy, and is normally a 6-7 in dresses, but Boden I def have to go 7-8 for the length.

Thanks for the replies.

I might order 2 sizes and send one back.

Come late to this..but I think they are quite small.

DD is tall but slim and I always buy a size up.
