Thanks to you, I now look at short sleeved jackets.

I know this one's polyester, but there's something I like about it

Anyway, cheap and cheerful, you'll probably hate them.

As you were Smile

Awww thank you for thinking of me. :)

I actually quite like the grey one but it would have to be worn fastened which, combined with the polyester, could be pretty hot!

I can't wear white or cream, as I look like I've been dead for several weeks if I do.

Tried a nay one on in M&S last week but it was hideous (to be fair, it was hideous on the hanger as well!).

I'm hoping I'll get away with a waistcoat over a blouse as much as poss.

Thanks again. :)

Now, how about joining me on my spending money in London thread?

tethersegg · 18/04/2011 12:08

Done.

Was the navy M&S one this?

I love the waistcoat and blouse look- I wear it often and I don't have a dress code Grin- Although I'm trying to summer it up a bit. I'm completely stuck in the summer as I don't like getting my legs out. I'm actually considering a maxi skirt this year Confused

I wore a maxi dress to work once last year - and was asked why I was dressed as an opera singer! Yes, I think that's the navy one - it made me look like Anne Widdocome (whose name I clearly can't spell).
