Got a low-key wedding reception with some people who work in the fashion industry coming up and thought this might fit the bill.

I'm quite small tho (size 8 - 10) and not very tall. Thought I'd team it with nude platforms / or black patent heels.

Here

I was also thinking of getting this to wear in my hair (have short, curly hair that looks totally frumpy). Is this too much?

I love those both!

Also have short (well not anymore,) curly hair.

I think low key shoes, as it such a statement dress. Nude platforms sound good.

I like the hair piece, not keen on the dress but I don't really go for anything remotely animally iykwim.

cybboid · 18/04/2011 10:05

How short would it be on you? its uber short on model

tulpe · 18/04/2011 10:09

Not keen on the dress but it is very "fashion" set, imo.

FaffTastic · 18/04/2011 10:45

Love the dress especially with nude heels. Like the hair piece but no so keen on the headband bit, but as long as that is hidden by your hair it'll look lovely.

Whatevs · 18/04/2011 10:50

If you are v. slender I think that dress with some nude patents would look fabulous.

Pennies · 18/04/2011 10:57

I'm 5'3" so it will be about 3 or 4 inches above the knee. Yes, headband will be hidden by hair so it will just be the clip.

Annoyingly N-a-P have dols out of size 8 so need to hunt about to find it elsewhere.

Love the hair band. Dress - hmm. I think there is a potential for it to look sack like and for it to wear you. I wouldn't buy.

MoonGirl1981 · 18/04/2011 11:23

Love the dress.

Can you try it on before you buy it though? I agree with the potential shortness/sackness suggestions and it might be one of those times where you need to go up or down a size for a perfect fit.

xx
