Fat & 40 - advice needed!

I need the classic Trinny & Susannah makeover and don´t know where to start. I´m a SAHM, 5 ´11, size 20, not carrying the extra weight as well as I have done in the past...

I need outfit ideas, main problem being finding my size - trousers 33 " and also extra long arms which no shops seem to cater for. I don´t do dresses or skirts - don´t suit me or my pasty cellulite covered legs. Any kind of T shirt style fabric also shows rolls of fat, so this is out.

My current look is jeans and good winter coat to cover the misery beneath. Problematic as summer approaches!

I tend to buy from M & S and various foreign brands catering for taller woman, most of which seem to be branded towards rich old ladies. I don´t like the clothes particularly but they do at least fit!

Any ideas?

tunic type tops with jeans?
dresses with jeans? that way, you wont get the roll of flab. well, it works for me.

have you tried fake tan on your legs? not a problem i have, but ive heard it works well.

a good bra. whatever you do or dont wear, you will need a fabulous bra to keep everything hoiked up.

Have you tried Debenhams personal shoppers, also for trousers, their long sizes are 33" and I love their RochaJohnRocha jeans (my Mum converted me!)

Thanks for that, I will try Debenhams trousers then! It´s always exciting to find out someone sells trousers in my size!

Dresses with some kind of trousers could also work for me and are probably easier to find than tunics.

Fake tan is a nightmare ime. I´ver tried to the big and expensive brands but always get a patchy effect, probably due to v dry skin. Would love to try a whole body tanning thing in a salon but don´t know where to go..?

Thanks again ladies!
