Don't know what type of jacket to get for summer, now I'm too old for denim.

I would really love a summer jacket which I could wear for everyday stuff, that's not ott smart or overly casual. I'm in my early 40s and I really could do with some help. Please?

How on earth can you be too old for denim? I'm 41 and practically live in my denim jacket in the summer - in fact, I'd like a new one!

I have a denim jacket that I love, I'm 40. I have also just bought a linen blend blazer from jigsaw that goes with everything, ££ but getting plenty of wear

I bought this one last year from H & M. Looks great with jeans but quite smart too. Good fit as well.

Mmm, I do quite like that Boden jacket especially in the lilac. Still not convinced that i could pull off a denim jacket - and that also means I'd have to get non- denim for my bottom half. ( I generally live in jeans, although not as much in the summer I suppose)

well I am still wearing a denim jacket and I am nearly 40. But yes there are annoying days when I am wearing jeans and have to find something else to wear up top OR go change my bottom half.
