Dermalogica soothing eye make up remover

Have just bought this and it's crap. I look like a panda every morning, despite using it exactly as directed (damp cotton wool blah blah). I even end up rubbing quite vigorously which is bad for lines and wrinkles.
Back to Lancome Bifacil, methinks.
Total waste of £

So disappointing, usually their products are great. If you got it from a salon will they take it back or give you a different Dermalogica product, most should as they want to keep your custom - and stop you saying negative things!

I love it and find it works really well. I'm a make up artist and I find it takes off even quite strong make up. Maybe you're not dampening the cotton wool enough? I use the large cleansing pads and wet two of them through and gently squeeze out the excess water then put a 5p sized blob on the centre of one of them and rub them together before using them to clean off make up.

Most Dermalogica products work best with a fair bit of water involved. I went to a Dermalogica training day and found out I was using a lot of stuff incorrectly, including the eye make up remover which I initially thought was crap too. Same goes for the Daily Microfoliant. You need quite a bit of water so that it goes quite loose and frothy rather than the not very helpful description of mixing it to a paste.

I swear by dermalogica. Have been using it on and off for about 12 years. I must confess though i havent tried the eye make up remover, i use boots botanics, its cheap and effective imo. I use dermalogica cleansers, moisturisers, boosters, eyecreams and ds1 uses the shampoo.

Ok Kittens I will try with more water...after that if it still doesn't work then it's bin time!
