Red/coloured jeans on the High Street?

Has anyone found some good red or other bright jeans on the high street - I know Top Shop has the 7/8th ones and some skinnies in coral but anywhere else?

Has anyone tried on the 7/8ths - would they go with high-tops or would they look a bit skinhead?

I bought some 7/8ths from Topshop a couple of years ago - they were called Pippa. Very flattering on the old ankles and have a nice touch of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Girl about them.

They do look a bit odd with Converse, actually, as if my centre of gravity is all skewed and make my size 5 feet look enormous. They look great with low-cut ballet pumps though.

My top tip, stolen from a friend, is to use Dylon and dye old white jeans that have gone stained grey in your favourite colour. Am about to do it this evening so will post back if it works!

Thanks both - I like the look of those oasis ones but am thinking i should get some normal length and then roll them up if needed because of the converse thing.

Thomas - let me know how the dyeing goes - I always turn things out quite patchy when I try but then I dont follow the instructions properly Blush

Right sm back from the High Street.

Tried on the top shop 7/8ths and have discovered that now need straight leg and not skinnies - god knows whats happened there in the last 6 months Sad

I think those mango ones look good - do they come up small do you reckon, I am small of waist but large of hip proportionately.

I tried on some diesel ones on tk maxx today - a waist of 27 which I do have in my cupboard, tried them on and couldnt get them over half my arse - not because I couldnt get them over my hips but because there literally wasnt any more of them - they were made for girls with literally half a bottom. I couldn't work out if it was shaming or laughable...

H&M or maybe Zara?

NanAstley · 16/04/2011 16:48

at "half a bottom"

i recently used Dylon. bought it in wilkinsons for about £5. it was very easy to use, just bung it all in washing machine. very pleased with the results
you can buy a handwash version which is cheaper but i couldnt be bothered was concerned results may be patchy
