which epilator?

im sick to death of having to shave the old pins everyday now spring is in the air!

thinking of getting an epilator, but need to know if im wasting my money first!

does anyone have any recommendations please?
do they work and are they worth it?

i used to get my legs waxed but its a pain having to wait for regrowth of 1/4" before you can have it done again - end up in trousers and that sort of defies the logic!

so its been back to shaving, but its a chore.

so, epilator seems like a good idea...

Braun

Another vote for Braun here. I bought the Silk Epil for around £30 a couple of years ago and never looked back! It is painful to begin with (and a little bit noisy), but you get used to it. I use it once a week (have dark hair and pale skin!) but find it much better than shaving and more effective than waxing. I also use it for underarms and bikini line. Go for it!

Braun silk apil dual epilator, it's amazing.

May I ask how loud it is???
I have an old epilator but never use it because the ideal time is always once the kids are in bed and it is so loud I fear waking them up Blush

is it any more painful than waxing?

I'm considering a purchase too but I'm confused by the wide range of prices i.e. anything from £30 - £100+

What does spending more get you? Less pain? Better performance?

Will be looking at this thread as have brought my Braun on hols and won;t bloody work - not sure if is voltage out here as GHDs won;t heat up properly either!

Have had braun for years and although is painful at first you soon get used to it - is fab!

I've just got a Braun Silk Epil series 7 epilator (was on offer at boots) and it's great. I used to have a Phillips one, but it just doesn't get the tough hairs out.
