Right - what shoes for a slinky black dress - bright colours, black, patterned?

I am wearing this to a party.

Now what do I wear with? I have black skyscraper black platforms. But how boring.

I loathe leopardskin (am blonde so Bet Lynch)

I would love to wear bright red but think (a) red shoes no knickers prejudice and (b) Trinny and Susannah said black + bright colour is sad.

Neutral? Metallic?

I don't like peep toe. I don't do shoe boot. I certainly don't do kitten heel. Pointed stiletto or rounded toe?

That dress is not as boring as it looks. Is very fitted and the split up thigh is to nigh on pubic bone levels.

The dress looks quite severe to me so I would be tempted to wear something whimsical like these But I appreciate that I have somewhat quirky taste in shoes.

See I am tempted by the blood red thing (already own red stilletos) but didn't want to look like a div unfashionable.

Febreeze I really like those shoes and would wear them with a full skirt or cropped jeans I think, but perhaps with that dress want a more severe look to go with the dress.

Yes I got it for £35! But is very fitted, is a very small 10, more like an 8 really. Looks like a waitresses uniform in that pic, but it is very nice on.

Those green ones are particularly gorgeous.

I was so close to buying the green ones - they are beautiful and pretty comfortable for heels but the ankle strap just didn't work with my chubby less than slender ankles
