Ah well done! Report back on how good it is.

tulpe · 14/04/2011 18:57

no email for me either.

Good luck! I always find their sales a bit of a 'mare though. Stuff disappears from my basket before I can even pay for it Confused

Bellebelle · 14/04/2011 20:28

OP - when is the sale? I use my work email for Outnet and I'm loathed to turn on my blackberry while I'm on holiday!

clux73 · 14/04/2011 20:34

Tomorrow. It's only open to 2000 people who would have been sent a special email today giving details. They'll get emailed a special link tomorrow. There are apparently 2400 items in the sale - all at £2 - so everyone will get something but it will be a mad rush to get the really good stuff!

Oh good luck.

I got a lovely Temperley London dress last year for a £1 and it should have been over £600.

FrancesFarmer · 14/04/2011 21:25

Wow, you lucky person you! Do come back and tell us if you get any nice stuff.

faustina · 14/04/2011 22:09

yes definitely good luck - am very jealous! It was a nightmare last year but I did end up getting a nice pair of shoes. Have your finger poised, ready for action!

Monadami · 15/04/2011 01:36

I've never heard of the Outnet. Is the web address the www.theoutnet.com ?

MarshaBrady · 15/04/2011 09:17

That's the one. It's great for big discounts. Can be a bit hit or miss, but I like it.

clux73 · 15/04/2011 09:38

I got a Marc Jacobs Eve tote bag in a lovely purpley colour for £2. Should be £800! Can't quite believe it. Don't know how to link.

Didn't dare even properly browse as I was scared of everything selling out in seconds. Just went to Marc Jacobs bags and chose the first one I liked! And even then I was terrified it would disappear from my basket.

Clux73.......am not at all Envy.......honest.

MarshaBrady · 15/04/2011 10:16

Oh LUCKY you that is so great! Well done on tactics. Must have been quite tense!

clux73 · 15/04/2011 10:27

I was shaking!! Now i keep thinking "should i have browsed longer and had a proper look at everything" but I was so scared I'd end up with a £20 t-shirt or something and then I really would have cried!! I still can't believe it - things like that don't ever happen to me.

Well done Clux, I saw the bag, really lovely.

I got a Marc Jacobs tea dress, original price £970. I started with the bags as well and got in a tizz over a Halston Clutch which sold out as I was entering my card details, so then I went to the dresses.

I thought there was a really good selection of items, but like you I was just too panicked to look properly.

MarshaBrady · 15/04/2011 11:06

Heehee I would have been shaking too! And heaven help it if any of the children had said 'I'm thirsty' or something at that crucial moment Wink.

How wonderful! Just wait til that package arrives being worth so much for the price of a tin of tuna Grin

Lucky things!

clux73 · 15/04/2011 11:10

Ooh nice dress! Well done!!

Marsha, I'd put my daughters on the sofa in front of the tv with their breakfast and told them I couldn't answer any questions for the next 10 minutes or so!!

oh god - do you remember how dreadful it was last year? Unable to log on, site crashing etc etc

clux73 · 15/04/2011 11:14

It was AWFUL last year. Took me an age to get in, and then there was nothing left. I honestly went crossed eyed frantically scrolling through pages and pages of SOLD OUT icons Grin

I'm pregnant so avoided looking at clothes. Bought a Jil Sander silk scarf, RRP £865. Well chuffed!
