How do i work mineral foundation then?

I've been either not wearing make up during the day or using Virgin face base stuff.
However, is aw mineral foundation on offer in Avon and thought I'd get some and try it, then if it was ok get some from Loreal or Max factor whatever.

So how do i use it? I swirled the brush round in it, but it seemed to concntrate int eh middle of the brush, then seemed to be only on certain bits of my face too!

make sure your moisturiser is really rubbed in otherwise it will cling to the soggy patches

you've just got to keep going over and over in circular motions until its all covered

Hi Saltire, mineral's a bit of work to set off with, but it's great.
First, have you got a proper brush? You can't just use a normal powder brush, they're not dense enough. Bare Escentuals do them (concessions in Debenhams) or on the Internet, lilylolo.co.uk.
Tip a bit into the lid, then you buff it on, just build it up in layers where you need extra coverage. Use a clean eyeshadow brush to dab on as concealed in places you need it.
I think the link above will have a demo video on it, if not YouTube, they have reLly good make up demos.
Loreal are crap, don't do it.

I just don't like looking too made up during the day, I work as a CM and get covered in all sorts, but at the same time am sick of people saying "oh salitre you look awful/ill/pale/tired etc" if I don't have nany on

Omg, tell them to piss off! I couldn't do your job.
Altho, I look awful without make up and won't even go to the shop at 7am on a Sunday without a bit of foundation and some mascara. But I'm very vain and high maintenance :)
