Cath Kidston bags and dresses

I have a sort of love/hate relationship with Cath Kidston stuff, I often like the fabrics but not sure if I want to festoon myself in them. I have however bought the espadrilles in the white flower print and really like them. As there is 15% off today (Code - CKPD), I am toying with the idea of getting either a mini tote or a day bag. Has anyone got either of these and would you recommend them as a summer bag? Part of me thinks they are a bit naff and part of me keeps looking. Also what about the dresses, sizes fit etc? I am looking for the perfect tea dress but am yet to find it - considering designing my own and getting it made but that is probably for another thread.

Do I take the deafening silence to mean not one single person likes Cath Kidston? Am hovering on the website and really could do with some feedback about the bags. Thanks

Don't know on dresses, but do think the floral bags (and other accessories) have been done to death - just bored with seeing them everywhere. Also a bit 'pretty pretty' and '50s homemaker' for my personal taste - though I do know that can be taken in an ironic way.

I kind of agree but I still keep looking at them... maybe it is Easter holiday madness setting in

I like them!! Looked at them in their rl shop yesterday.

I am considering open tote, day bag or messenger (mini tote a bit small for my needs)

don't do it...they are hideous, and worn by the masses imo.

The thing is, where I live I never ever see them. For anyone who does like them: are they useful and practical ie. how much can you get inside them?
