Earrings for a girl. Where do you buy them from?

They will be a birthday present and its the first time shes changed them!! I havent a clue where to go for a special pair.

By special do you mean slightly more upmarket than Claire's Accessories etc? I suppose a High St jewellers woudl be the place - no point spending any sort of serious money as earrings are easily lost. But she might actually prefer lots of cheap and cheerful ones - Accessorise have some nice ones.

why not a local jeweller? Get gold, anyway.

I have got any decent jewellers near me but, you are right I will have a good look. I still have mine from H. Samuels from when I had my first tooth taken out!!

I would avoid cheaper places like accessorize and spend a little more on some pure gold or silver ones because any thing else could irritate her ears and won't be as special. My sister had a pair of really pretty little pearls when she changed her first pair.

I got some special earrings from an online site, sorry I can't remember which - DD2 is 11 plays the clarinet and loves horses so just googled these and earrings and she ended up with some lovely pairs of earrings special to her.

One pair was silver, one pewter I think.
