where are we on deck shoes/those strange tod loafer things

I covet a pair of Tod's loafers but really not sure as I fear they may be "county" as you say and sadly I am over 30 :(

I'd love a pair of Tods loafers, but don't like the style when it gets too deck shoe like in the link.

love them never date Great with skinnies and quite cool with shorts as long as they are short and not (whispers) bermudas! I have tods and cheapos no difference really once they are worn in Marks used to do good copies Will look

In Primarni mens section they have canvas loafer in all sorts of colours, I bought some in black mostly to see if I liked the style as they were only £5. Wore them the other day and they were uber comfortable and whilst they're more casual being canvas I can see me wearing them a lot.

I love my Timberland deck shoes - wear them all the time.
Tods remind me of driving shoes.
I have a pair of Tods loafers a la Princess Diana circa 1996.
They were a bargain in Bicester.
I haven't worn them for ages.
