Maternity maxi dress - any ideas??

Hi

Bit of background...I'm due to give birth on the 23rd June and one of my best friends is getting married (locally) on the 2nd July. I want to go to at least some part of the wedding and so need to think of a suitable outfit.

I'm thinking that a maternity maxi dress or a maxi dress in a bigger size might be a good option. I've never worn one before as I'm quite short and have shyed (sp?) away from them! However, I do think they could be a good option in this situation plus I can get away with flip flops or low wedges.

Basically I need to have an outfit ready in case I'm still pregnant (?!) or have recently given birth and will be nowhere near ready to get back into my normal size dresses.

So a big plea really...has anyone seen any in any shops or online?? Am open to different prints/colours/necklines etc. I will probably be breastfeeding but I'll figure that one out when I get to it . Smile I thought I'd ask here first before trawling the internet/shops.

Sorry this has been long...thanks for reading!

P.s. Im also going to a christening on the 1st may so if I can manage to bag something by then all the better Grin

I suggest the classic Tosho jersey maxi - I accidentally bought one of their maxis in maternity and didn't notice. So they work whatever state you're in. I have this in all colours and am fat, but not pregnant. Looks great and is very helpful about being tarted up/down for relevant occasion.

www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=2300842&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208537&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20&refinements=category~[209827|208537]&noOfRefinements=1

Once you've established you can wedge your middle into it, the key here is to go for a maxi that fits around the shoulders and bozoooom at the size you are now.
