Can anyone reccommend a tinted moisturiser for fair skin - i have used Chanel and Clinique ones in the past - both are too dark and I end up looking orange! Anyone else had this and what do you use?

Laura Mercier in Porcelain is worth a shot

Agree with Eldon - Laura Mercier is the best and the porcelain is excellent for fair skin.

I got a sample pot of the LM one and love it. Currently trying to economise so have got Olay touch of foundation. Its fine but its not LM.......

oh and agree about the Clinique one making you look orange, found the same with the Dior one too.

stila do a pale one - can still buy it from some sites if you search
I love Laura Mercier though

Yup, Laura Mercier. I'm very pale but olive rather than pinky, and they have a perfect shade for me. They also do a more pinky version for pale English Rose types. It feels lovely and light, gives good coverage and makes me look almost dewy (no mean feat at 38!).

speculationisrife · 13/04/2011 14:41

Oh, and it's expensive but a little goes a long way, so is well worth it.

I do not mind paying if it is a decent product - will def give the LM one a go and see if i can get a smaple to see how I get on! Thanks

Estee Lauder daywear tinted moisturiser matches your skin tone. It's quite amazing actually. Would give it a go

LovelyDaffs · 13/04/2011 18:51

I tried the two that benefit do, I'd say that I'm pale but their pale version was too pale for me, so might be worth a try.

Frizzbonce · 13/04/2011 19:44

Agree with the Laura Mercier fans. There is a high amount of pigment so you only need a tiny bit. I've had my tube for a year and I use it nearly every day.

Try Sunsense daily face....it is also factor 50+ so ideal for fair skin.
