Will I look like a wannabe bridesmaid in this at a summer wedding?

I really like it. Feels great on. I struggle to find dresses - never seem to fit properly.

The length is worrying me though. It's full length. Don't want to look like I'm trying to hard? Is full length a faux pas if you're not at the top table??

that is beautiful

wear it

frantic51 · 12/04/2011 16:24

TBH I'd have to say, yes, probably. Sad

But it would be great for the evening "do"? Smile

Clure · 12/04/2011 16:24

tis lovely. I think as maxi's are very much in fashion it would be totally acceptable

MollysChambers · 12/04/2011 16:25

It is nice isn't it? Never get to go anywhere posh - and it is a very posh wedding - so would love to wear it. Don't want to look a tit though!

I agree with BALD, that dress is lovely. Def not ott for wedding.

MollysChambers · 12/04/2011 16:31

It's stunning. Wear it with confidence!

FebreezeYourJeans · 12/04/2011 16:43

But let the dress speak, no feathers in your hair or other 'fancy stuff'

Clure · 12/04/2011 16:43

yes, deff if its a posh do. Agree with leaving the tiara at home!!

collision · 12/04/2011 16:44

beautiful but out of stock!

MollysChambers · 12/04/2011 16:45

I was thinking just a bracelet for jewellery.

What colour sandals?? (I think sandals rather than shoes, yes?)

that is gorgeous.

silver or gold sandals. hair up in a kind of grecian plaited bun. iyswim

FanillaFudge · 12/04/2011 16:49

Defo not OTT - you won't be the only one, maxi dresses are too popular for it to be a faux pas.

It's lovely.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 12/04/2011 16:49

silver sandals, silver cuff/bangle and a fuck off great cocktail ring if you've got one

I concur, no frou frou

MollysChambers · 12/04/2011 16:52

Ooh yes enormo-ring! Good thinking.

I wore a full length dress for my brother's wedding last sat. Not on top table either. I got so many compliments!

That dress is simply gorgeous and definately not ott. Have fun! Grin

Thank you all!

Mamaz won't manage any kind of bun - grecian or otherwise - unfortunately. Hair not long enough.
