Are wedges more comfortable to wear than heels?

I just ask as have been looking online for some tan sandals and really like some wedges but they all look quite high. Does the burny balls of feet thing still happen, because your foot will be in the same position as wearing heels surely? Or are they magic?

Yes they are more comfy. I still find burning though - just takes longer than ordinary heels. In general I find them more stable to walk in as there is more of the shoe touching the ground.

Totally more comfy, tend to not get burny heel as some of the height is usually under the ball too so feet aren't normally as arched.

Ahh thanks notyummy - will give a pair a whirl.

I can't do spindly heels at all but can walk for England in wedges. No burny balls (so to speak)

Oops and thanks cheekey!
