would you wear a jumpsuit?

Arent they for skinny young things? Up North at the weekend all the women were wearing them, of all shapes and sizes.

I really would never. They bring back memories of my Charlies Angels nylon jump suit when I was eight.

I actually feel the same about maxi dresses.

Only if I was leaping from a plane with a parachute attached.

(So, that'll be a no then)

monkeysmama · 12/04/2011 11:11

I love them. This is beautiful on and I would love to have a party to wear this beauty to.

BarbieBlu · 12/04/2011 13:22

Yes! I love them.

Ephiny · 12/04/2011 13:24

I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing one in real life. They look a bit ridiculous to me, even on the models in the photos.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 12/04/2011 13:25

REally no.

VinegarTits looked beautiful in one at the Chirstmas meetup.

crystalglasses · 12/04/2011 13:32

Too much like a babygro to me.

Mahraih · 12/04/2011 16:35

Only at my thinnest.

8 weeks post-baby, with actual breasts and a bumn. NO. WAY.

catinboots · 12/04/2011 19:09

I thought no way jose, I could never wear a jumpsuit. But I tried this Ted Baker one on at the weekend. I'm 5'4" size 10-12 and it was so so unbelievably flattering.

I'm going back to get it this weekend for my hen night in July Grin

dexter73 · 12/04/2011 19:13

The weeing issues put me off tbh!

brimfull · 12/04/2011 19:30

dd tried this one on and it looked great
her male friends watching Hmm loved it as well

mrsravelstein · 12/04/2011 19:34

i've got a black strapless jumpsuit which is fairly fitted and i feel fantastic in... but i'm not keen on the baggy around the bottom ones (like that one on the H&M advert which looks hideous)

Cattleprod · 12/04/2011 19:37

They look ridiculous and you have to virtually strip naked to go to the toilet. So no.

I do like maxi dresses though.

Driftwood999 · 12/04/2011 20:00

As dexter73 suggests, going to the toilet is a bit of a performance, especially in a yukky public convenience. Years ago I had to use a continental toilet (platforms) when skiing, wearing an all in one suit. Imagine holding the fabric away and squatting at the same time. To top it all, the only available paper was the 50 franc note I had in my pocket. Lucky for me it was just a wee Grin

womma · 12/04/2011 20:24

Only if I'm invited to join Charlie's Angels

Jumpsuit=camel toe

oldsilverfabergeegg · 12/04/2011 20:40

My favourite jumpsuit of all time Grin

Bratfink · 12/04/2011 20:54

Oh yes, if I wasn't fat and pregnant. There is a gorgeous one on great plains, sorry too lazy to link on phone

I contemplated buying it for after the baby, but it will be the end of summer (and I will still be fat)

MissAnthrope · 12/04/2011 20:56

Not unless I'd been imprisoned.

QuinionsRainbow · 14/04/2011 15:05

I had a red denim one back in my early twenties. A bit like wearing cardboard, especially with just a bra and pants underneath, which was the way I usually wore it, but after a few washes it softened up just like a well-matured pair of jeans. I wore it for more years than was probably wise, and DH rather liked it too.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 14/04/2011 15:06

Only if my life depended on it.

Stropperella · 14/04/2011 15:08

I still have a jumpsuit from the 1980s. I wear it when I am decorating. Is v. useful. :)

noddyholder · 14/04/2011 15:10

I bought a black tailored on about 3 or 4 years ago at xmas from matalan of all places! It is black strapless and very corsetted but its smart and quite flattering. But I think the floral high st ones are hideous and having seen so many recently I think mine will be consigned to teh back of teh wardrobe now or end up at the charity shop!

ENormaSnob · 14/04/2011 15:58

Yes I would.

Bored of maxi dresses now so it will be a nice change on holiday.

Changebagsandgladrags · 14/04/2011 18:57

I have worn one once, it came with a man & parachute attached. I was too busy worrying about getting splatted to think about accessories.
