Where are the single breasted mid length spring coats?

They do not exist.

I have searched and searched. The shops are full of cookie cutter samey belted beige macs that make me look like a potato!

What I want is a nice, light coloured (white, cream..), single breasted, aline, simple, lightweight coat that is machine washable. Mid length, so long enough to wear tunics underneath.

I have looked and looked and am getting really fed up.

Really want a high street one as I have broad shoulders so tricky to size and need to try on.

I tried on this at the weekend. Not quite your spec as it's quite curvy rather than a-line, but I was tempted (and they were doing 20 percent off!)

Thanks don't think it is the one, belts and me don't seem to get on. I'm you classic apple shape and have no waist to tie them on!!

Some people wear the belt tied at the back I've heard - might be worth a try.

I think the first Mango one might work. Need to see it in the flesh though - not showing as in stock where I am though

Have you tried John Lewis or House of Fraser?
