Maxi dress help

I'd and really like to try and get one or two for summer now my issue is that I hate patterned fabrics so looking at a block colour. Will wear with a cardi as I don't like my upper arms but I am large of nork making me an 18 and smaller on waist at 14/16 so i need something that comes in under the bust so my waist looks more in proportion rather than looking like I am wearing a coloured bin bag

Has anyone seen anything recently?

at coloured bin bag. Went to an amusement park with DCs yesterday and there were loads of glamorous women wafting around in maxi's.

Those wearing dresses with belts looked the most shapely - saw someone in this and the elastic at the top of this helped show off the waist.

i tried on this one
and thought it fitted very nicely for someone with slimmer waist - not too revealing of nork or not on me anyway.

hey had very nice cardis to match, although i ather liked their blazers this one though didn't try them on

I have this navy jersey maxi.

I've got a White Company one v similar to that one from last summer but in black. I wore it a lot last summer with a cropped cotton M&S grey cardigan and sandals, or with a denim jacket on cooler days.

I ordered the khaki next one and thought the quality was awful and I usually love next stuff (sorry! :o ) the little faux belt was really plasticy and the jersey was really thin.....

Love the look of the white company one I had a navy maxi last summer that I wore to death!!

Some nice ones with toe waists here that might work....?
