I loved loved loved my black ski pants. I lived in them with a big black and white check jacket and black rollneck and pixie boots or ballet shoes in 1986 ish. Fab.

agree about the gusset - sometimes me and my mates would get each other to do up the poppers on the gusset, but if no mate available you just thought "ach ill just leave it, i cant fasten it cos i need to bend over to do that and if i bend over ill fall over" (when drunk) so it was tucked into the jeans or so you thought..

Ah happy days - I remember the bashed head trying to do up the gusset on body tops after a few shandies! (One I had had buttons fgs.)

Did you ever think 'sod it, I've done one popper, that'll do..' then lurch out Ab-Fab style only to feel the twwwang snap of it coming undone. The top then pings up and looks absurd just as you're trying to look cool and dance to Like A Virgin.
