Is there a way of getting onto the Hollister USA website from UK?

My parents are going to my brother's in New York imminently. I normally take advantage whenever anyone visits him or he comes here and stock up on various bits that are cheaper in the US.

DCs would like some Hollister bits but I can't seem to get on the US website, the link just defaults to UK prices, annoyingly.

Has anyone found a way of defeating this?

BTW neither my parents nor my brother are remotely capable of doing any shopping for me, particularly not in Hollister(!) - I have to be able to order stuff myself from the UK and get it shipped to his address.

I see what you mean. I'd send them an email and ask them. Or give your brother a v detailed list of what you want, item number, size etc, and get him to order it from his computer, maybe even while on the phone to you.

we found the websites to be pretty similar.

try the abercrombie kids site too

I managed to do it by using a proxy ISP number-just google proxy ISP and choose one in the US-I'll warn you though, shipping is very steep!

I found a much wider range on the US site

We do order from Abercrombie kids too and that site allows me to access US prices and order to my brother's address. For the two that fit in children's sizes I do try and force encourage a preference for Abercrombie.

However apparently Hollister is cooler now, plus DS1 is nearly six foot tall.

The proxy IP address idea sounds promising. I know we have a static rather than dynamic address - it's a business account - will have to wait for DH to come home to experiment for me.

Hopefully shipping can't be worse than the £20 they charge to the UK and with 3 of them shopping it will split out to a relatively low overhead per item.
