I don't want to hide or reduce the flab (and it is only a bit), I want to keep it 'still'.

Can't be spending a hefty ammount of money either.

I love my 'magic knickers'. One pair from Primark and the other from Matalan, and they cost about £6 each. They look like hotpants, make me feel held in and are lovely and warm in winter

Get thee to TK Maxx. They stock Maiden Form and other good brands for a fraction of the regular price (around a fiver per pair).

If you want to keep the flab still, rather than suck it in and hide it, I recommend you go for a size larger than your usual size. That will ensure you get a smooth tum look but won't give you griping stomach pains from too much pressure in the abs area :)
