Help Need Help with Daughter Prom Dress - GUILTY MUMMY

Hi Ladies
I am brand new to mums-net but ladies I need your help!!!
I have a daughter who is going to her first School Prom in June.
She saw a dress she LOVED in December in Phase Eight.I said that she needed to look around and that the dress was too expensive fro me to buy around Christmas.
Now guess what!!! She hasn't found a dress that she prefers (sadly I haven't seen one that I prefer either) BUT its out of stock everywhere!! I have phoned all Phase Eight Stores that showed that they had said dress in stock including Belfast Dublin Exeter!!
Its a knee length black tapework dress with long chiffon sleeves needed in a size 8.
Any one with any bright ideas - please let me know

Have you checked ebay? You can put out an item request on ebay as well as just looking at listings.

Don't have the name but have the ref code 201174050 - it comes up on the web site - afraid not computer literate enough to be able to work out how to post a picture of the dress on the site

Good Idea re requesting item on ebay hadn't thought of that - my dear husband started trawling through ebay yes2day!!

Can you get a size 10 and have it taken in? I know it would be tricky with the tape work but it might work.

There is an outlet shop at Cheshire Oaks and may be others elsewhere - worth giving them a ring? They have a lot of stuff in the Cheshire Oaks Phase Eight shop that shows as out of stock on the website.

Thanks ladies - have tried the Outlets no luck so far but was advised by one of the lovely sales assistants to give them a call each week she said they wouldn't mind!!!
Dress perfect for my daughter who didn't want one of the usual prom fussy dresses - very Audrey Hepburn inspired and very irritating she is a ballet dancer with the perfect figure so looked stunning on her.
Off into town tomorrow to see if she can find an alternative but thought I's give the forums a go.
