"False" nails virgin

so what's the difference between shellac and gel nails, please? Haven't a clue, but don't want to look too artificial. Thanks.

Ooh, thanks for that! Going by the article, I reckon I need to find a salon that does Shellac....although that might be a problem given that my event is tomorrow night! (disorganised? Moi? surely some mistake...) Grin

Not sure anyone is interested, but I'll update anyway. Ended up getting Bio Sculpture gel nails in French. They look lovely - just like really well looked after normal nails. From what I've read I might not be as happy once they're soaked off, but for now I like them! Thanks for the advice.

I'm interested. Was hoping you'd had shellac to hear what it's like but glad you like your new nails. They'll last 2-4 week ime with good care and just make sure you go back to take them

Maybe shellac for my next night out (in about a year!). When I'll be more organised and manage to get to a salon that does them. Smile
