As fast as they send it out, I sned it back. Am I the only person ordering?

I imagine I am getting 1:1 service- ordered this morning and email say s it has been despatched.

Problem is- I have yet to keep anything.

I have my eye on a few limited collection bits but waiting for the sale...

not much else grabs me.

One pair of cropped chinos and that's it so far. ordered a cropped cardi today nad am waiting for a dress that's out of stock.

I have made about ten orders this year and kept a pair of jeans. I'm having trouble keeping up with the returns.
I am going to give up now, too much time spent in the Post Office for my liking.

cabbageroses · 08/04/2011 17:30

My neighbours will think I am having an affair with the delivery man- he is here almost every day at 4.30.

He even joked that I must be running out of room now...
ha ha
It's all gone back.

Yes, my DH is very familiar with those spotty bags first arriving, then waiting in hall to be taken to post office to return!

cabbageroses · 08/04/2011 17:44

I think they are doing badly this season- everything has been discounted since the start.

As I said, there are 1 or 2 dresses that catch my eye but not paying £150. it's just a marketing ploy- they are no different to the other ones for £80.

I agree - I've sent everything back. The sizing is all wrong, the cut is unflattering and frankly everything just makes me look and feel frumpy.

Horrible.

But the children's clothes are still very nice.

cabbageroses · 08/04/2011 17:50

I am clothes-less. Boden was a staple for some stuff- no patterns please- Kew has gone downhill, Jigsaw is either droopy or very smart and £££s.

What's a middle aged girl to do?

I'm not ordering any more.

My love affair with Johnnie is over. Sad

Every tunic I ordered made me look like Zainab from EE.

I'm yet to find better winter coats for my DC, though.

GeorginaWorsley · 08/04/2011 18:26

Cbbage try French Connection,Phase Eight,Mint velvet??
Agree about Boden this year.
Just returned the Palazzo top, hideous shape on me,really frumpy.

Meggles76 · 08/04/2011 18:30

Yes, me and the delivery man are now on first name terms :) DH sees the spotty bags and says, 'so another lot of stuff for you to send back.' And he is right. I must only keep a tenth of what I order ;)

cabbageroses · 08/04/2011 18:35

I have bought a top and a trench coat from Mint velvet .

Will check out FC but they always look so young...

non?

I'm getting to know the delivery man quite well, and also the bloke at the Post Office where I send my returns!!

GeorginaWorsley · 08/04/2011 18:37

Non!
Have two great dresses from them this season, and two from a few years ago that come out every year.
I am liking Jigsaw cowl neck tees, cost around £35 I think but worth it.
Great Plains always worth a look, and have some great rolled up chinos from Sainsburys!

tulpe · 08/04/2011 22:02

GW perhaps this is where I go wrong but I cannot bring myself to pay £35 for a tee.

Will check out the Sainsbury's chinos: am desperately seeking a navy pair although I may return to Zara where I bought the most gorgeous deep red pair 2 days ago.

Cabbages - yep. I think Boden has really lost the plot from a quality and style perspective. Avoiding all hotchpotch items, I have generally found many items in each seasons' collection which I have wanted (and bought) over the last 8 years. But this last year I have been sadly disappointed.

If any of you have any brilliant knitwear suggestions, please reply to my spring/summer cardigan thread :)

GeorginaWorsley · 08/04/2011 22:29

Neither could I ,Tulpe but it does look great, the cut is fab.
I wouldn't pay alot for white tees,tbh.
Sainsbury's chinos are excellent, and am sure they have a navy pair.

cabbageroses · 08/04/2011 22:34

I admit to buying T shirt thing from Jigsaw- it has a silk panel down the front and short sleeves and a V neck.

tuple- have you had a look at Pure Collection?

Or Brora?
