Ah, I love to lurk on these threads. They give me a great deal of pleasure as MIL works for m&s and has been brainwashed into thinking they are the best at everything.
We went to Reims recently and bought some fantastic champagne, which we opened on mother's day and all she could say was 'ooh, it's not as nice as marks's' (annoying use of marks's too).
Sorry, I know that is off topic but she'll no doubt be wearing some of these gems this summer so I can at least snigger inwardly. (I am an evil DIL)
