What necklace with this Bangle

Ladies, This is my favourite bangle of all time. I've had it for years and I absolutely adore it, wearing it with anything from jeans to a snazzy outfit for a night out. here's the dilema. I have a fancy do to go to and I really need a necklace to finish the outfit off, but there isn't a matching necklace, and I'm never sure "matching sets" are a good idea anyway...

Does anyone have a suggestion for what might go with a low halter necked black dress and this silver bangle?

PS. I'm 5'6, size 12 with big boobs, and I like my jewellery chunky and modern.

With a halter neck you might want to skip the necklace and just go for dramatic earrings if it's one of the type that fasten at the back of the neck. Otherwise you have the dress straps and the necklace competing with each other. But without seeing the dress I'm afraid I'm not much help do you have a link?

No sadly not.

That's a good point. It doesn't tie, it's stretch, so it goes over your head but you're right, I don't want any necklace that bulky at the back or it'll drive me demented. Maybe a big silver pendant on a slim black cord or mega earrings.. (I have big hair so that could work).

Do you think this would work? or this? Simple and modern and wouldn't shout at the dress. Earrings are a bit delicate but maybe if I have the bangle and necklace that's enough???? (fancy do is so not me!). PS. OBVIOUSLY I've already got the shoes sorted; cripplingly uncomfortable strappy sandles resorting to barefeet as soon as noone's looking.

I'd say you want something that tapers, so it doesn't clash with the bracelet ... I would say something with a stone, maybe an onyx or something that won't clash with anything you wear (if you like gemstones), with Silver wrapped around it in the style of the bracelet ... you could go for a similar design on the earrings, or just have the earrings tapering upwards and downwards with a central band, to match the bracelet.

I haven't seen anything like that, but I'm in love with that bracelet so I'm going to have a look and if I can't find anything, I'll be designing something!

I would go for earrings rather than a necklace with a halter neck...they just don't work together.
