Spring/Summer Sandals inc Fitflop q's

Im 31 and looking for somw nice sandals and comfy sandals/shoe for spring summer. I usually live in birkenstocks but fancied a change from the usual. i am currently wearing converse pumps and quite fancy getting some fitflops too but have no idea which style to get ( why are there so many to chose from) its all very confusing...

So whats in and fashionable and what is frumpy and should avoid?

well I don't know about fashionable, but I lived in birkenstocks too and switched to fit flops last summer - they're great (I got the black sparkle ones so I could wear them in the evening too) Get them new off Ebay though - mine were £20 instead of £65 everywhere else. Happy sandalling!

I am birkenstock devotee and have just purchased my first pair of fitflops. I went for the very plain brown suede. Figure they will go with most things. Haven't worn them out yet but tried them on at home and they seem v comfy. Also like the idea of the slight extra height as my wide legged jeans that are the right length with chunky boots in the winter are too long with birkies.

Have to say I made the mistake of ordering a new pair of pearly-blue birkies at the same time tho and will find it a wrench to send them back!! (can't really justify keeping both as already have a pair of the papillio ones from last year still in good nick).
