I like Dove or Nutrishimmer.
Have tried St Tropez Everyday but find it expensive for frequent use.

I use Johnsons good for v pale skin but it smells like oaty biscuits and not in a good way. I think Gok Wan did a blind test of these a few years ago and Olay came out best, if memory serves me right. HTH.

I have the St tropez everyday one but I swear I must be doing it wrong, I'm paler than pale yet it never looks any different?

ENormaSnob · 08/04/2011 15:51

I like the garnier one.

St tropez ok but not worth the extra ££ IMO

AuntieMaggie · 08/04/2011 16:02

the make believe tan extender came out well on Gok too but its about the same price as san tropez.

I've just bought some dove stuff and am just finishing off garnier.

I use Clarins gel but mix 50/50 with a body lotion.

Don't care for St Tropez, too gradual! Clarins a bit jaundise looking (if your pale) imo, Loreal/ garnier- bit orange for me.

Johnson's holiday skin gives a natural glow.

Johnsons & Garnier I have used and thought very good.

I now have some Nivea sun "Protect & bronze" - sun block (well, SPF30) with added fake tan in it which will encourage me to use it very regularly. Day 1 today but I'll no doubt have some colour from the sun anyway so it'll be a bit difficult to tell.
