have just ordered this from next, thought it was a bit different and slightly more girly jacket

Cropped denim jackets are apparently the thing to wear with maxis. They have them in H&M and New look. I also saw a nice regular(ie waist length) jacket in peacocks. Prices are £15 to £20 so am tempted myself when I get paid.

Gap are usually pretty good and I think they have some in the sale iirc.

oasis have lovely fitted denim jackets. I love mine. Personally I think crop denim are too faddy...a good classic one will last years

I got a lovely one in Uniqlo (I heart Uniqlo) for £19.99. Nice and fitted and short but without being too cropped.

i am a worried there might be a touch of the Nigella about this look.

Nicely fitted at waist and sleeves roll up and look v stylish

I bought one from Levi's yesterday. £85. I'm 5'4" with massive knockers and it fits beautifully - it has 2% elastane, so not the cardboardy denim of the jacket I had 20 years ago.

Well I bought a jacket in gap today with my 30% off voucher.....

Now I'm thinking, will it go with everything I need it to?

I was planning to wear it to work with my standard black trousers.....with my white linen trousers and tan sandals and also with MAXI dresses....
