Maxi skirt from H&M Bohemian Deluxe range - what to wear on top half?

can't do strappy vest and waistcoat as not as slender (!!!) as the model.. what shall I wear instead.. ? any tips?

white normal t shirt? or 3/4 length t shirt? like this

The trick, as it's floaty skirt, is to go for something more fitted on top without it being too formal.

nice ! could i go fitted long sleeved t and waistcoat rather than sleeveless and waistcoat?

or one of those shortish but wide/floaty t's?

I think it would be fine as long as it's not too floaty, otherwise it would probably drown you - just lots of floaty going on all over the place

I tried on that skirt, it is so pretty but doesn;t look good on anyone with hips i.e. me! I was happy to fit into the size 12 though.

I would go for a fit white/cream t-shirt, nothing too fancy.

well, it is not the most flattering item i have, but i loved the pattern and the swishiness !

It is gorgeous, I may have to go the H&M again tomorrow and have another look, if it's still there, it was only 10 euros.

Lulumama, I've bought the skirt now! A size up, more flattering on me because it sits lower on the waist.

I've teamed it with a khaki top from C&A. There was nothing in H&M which went with it.
