Just wondering if anyone has actually tried these? And, if so, what did they think about fabric - nice and soft? - fit, length, and general style ?

Saw them mentionesd on here as praised by styulists, etc and it seems you can order on line but, before doing so, wondered if anyone had direct experience of them.

Do you mean the sweaters or the t-shirts?

My daughter has a couple of t-shirts and they are nice, ok, but with the euro where it is, very overpriced.

My husband has a jumper. It's nice.

I have a Saint James (similar) but bought it second hand off eBay. Nice, lanolin wool, washes well. Yes, good quality, can't say I'm unhappy.

Was actually thinking of the long and the short sleeved cotton T shirts.

I have some bretons. They are soft, not very long (top of hips), quite loose, wash well - nice but not really worth the money IMO.

I have white/navy long-sleeved top that is at least 15 years old(!) and comes out every summer. It still looks good as new, no fading, no bagging. If the quality is still the same, I'd say get one, as they are a summer classic.

I like the fact the women's ones aren't tight. A breton should be fairly loose. Check out Coco Chanel wearing them (mind you, everything looked fairly loose on her!)

Armor Lux is v nice. Saint James is simply fab. Both are mega reputable companies: impeccable quality, great cuts. It will last forever.
