Fancy dress, film theme, no cash. Heylp!

I'm going to an actual fancy dress party on Friday.

I have no cash and no time to order anything off of ebay.

Any ideas how I could tweak my existing wardrobe?

DH is going as Donnie Darko, easy as he owns a skeleton costume & a hoddie.

I have a black maxi dress if that helps. Long brown hair.

I did think of Lara Croft, but I have no gun & am certainly not athletic. I'm a big 14 atm.

Need jewels. Just been to Primark too. Damn. Cannot afford fuel for another trip into town. Off to raid DDs dress-up box.

Knee length, but I think most people would get your drift if it was long.

Oops, wrong it is long - I was thinking of the poster in which you can see her legs, but that's just because of the way they drew the split.

Yeah, it is knee length. But you know, poetic licence 'n' all that, there will be many people there with variations on a theme!
