not sure what the cause and effect is but when I run lots (and therefore sweat - but also drink - lots, as well as get lots of fresh air) my skin is definitely loads better

but not in the short-term - when it makes me look like an unfit beetroot.

no i find it mixes with sun cream and blocks pores. am outdoor though. and god i hate it when it runs down my neck. much prefer winter exercise.

I have steamed my face until it's dripping and used a face pack afterwards once a week for years and I have a problem free complexion and very rarely get pimples/spots.

Prunnhilda · 04/04/2011 14:21

Ha, and it is free!
Like the 'drink 2.5l of water a day' diet (which works brilliantly IME) it will never catch on.....

Its that 'post shag' look isnt it

I'm always aiming to replicate that artifically through make up

I always fail

Yes, it does. Only anecdotal proof but it stands up to close scientific scrutiny - heat/increased blood flow to the face makes your pores open up (actually does that ever really happen?) and stuff comes out, giving you the face of Aphrodite.

Since you are asking, sweating can give you a rash (miliaria) that is really painful and nasty. A common ailment in hot and humid climates. Pics here. I had it a couple of times when I was living in the tropics. Felt like 1000 ants under my skin.
