Practical is what I was after. Also ordered some clogs from New Look which arrived today. They look really cheap compared to the web picture but will be fine under my flares.

Saw the sparkly Dune wedges you linked to. They don't really work in RL. But Dune have got loads of practical-suitable-for-the-school-run sandals.
