Last time I wore jeans from Gap I was 21 and a size 12 but I need new jeans and don't know where to start.

I am 52 and am sat here in a pair of Curvy jeans from Gap. They are straight leg and very comfortable and are made for women shaped women with waists and hips, not boy shaped women who go straight up and down.

They sound promising.

What do you wear on your feet, what colour is the most flattering, how much are they please?

I have a waist and hips and a sticky out tummy. Will they still do?

These are not dressy jeans so I usually wear trainers with them. I bought them in a retail outlet so they were about £17. I find that they stretch a little after wearing them for a couple of hours. They look like the ones in the first picture on the left. I couldn't say whether the fit will be right for you so I would just go and try some on.

I do find buying jeans a bit of a mare though because fit is crucial and it is something I would never buy online.

DH is coming with me so I stand a much better chance of getting some jeans that suit me! Thanks for the ideas.

BunBaker - i love how they only use stick thin models, like all women are shaped the same way Hmm
