Coil and beauty issues (skin and hair)

Since having the coil fitted my already spotty skin seems worse and my hair needs to be washed every day. Has anyone had beauty issues since having the coil fitted?? Have been prescribed Zineryt but the GP wasnt keen on me having the coil removed as I have only had it for 4 weeks.

I had mine changed last Wednesday and my skin is oilier already. No spots now seem to have grown out of them at long last, and I wash my hair every day anyway but it's oilier as well. Love the Mirena coil though and keeping it for another 5 years! Zineryt is good, but keep on at the Dr as I'm sure there will be other treatment options for your skin.

Unfortunately progestogen only methods of contraception (like the mirena) are more likely to cause issues with your skin. My skin is already crap so I've recently had a copper coil put in. I use zineryt too and am also on a course of anti biotics. Do keep on at your GP if the zineryt doesn't help.
