Clog advice please!

Ok so been lusting after silver hasbeens for well over a year, and now decided I really can't justify the exorbitant price tag - read about lotta from Stockholm and they are nice... BUT I WANT SILVER - have now found Swedish clogs handmade to order in Scarborough! bjornclogs website isn't great but if you persist you can see that all their clogs can be ordered in any colour etc...I'd like your opinion on these WITHOUT flower in silver (which is a proper metallic silver as seen on other ones) heidi

Thank you so much for this thread! I keep sneaking on to the hasbeens website for a drool but like you cannot justify the £££, hadn't come across the Lotta. I think the ones you have linked look great for that price, and if you can get exactley the colour you want well worth it!

Ooh nice clogs there, the silver ones are lovely...at first I thought it said Mugabe and thought it was an odd sideline for an African dictator

Tethers, are they true to size? I ordered some Swedish clogs last year (Toffeln and Sanita and they came up very small. I would have needed an extra half size at least, and I'm wondering if these have the same quirk.

Ignore me am wrong wrong wrong. I like yours, without the flower. On the other hand, if I don't have those Maguba ones with blue stockholm sole and grey or brown patent upper on my feet by the end of April I can't answer for my actions.

Many thanks for all your comments - Tethersend, I'm smitten! Maguba are fabulous! How I didn't find them I don't know. Shame as am sure the bjorn ones are cool too and its probably just down to the marketing... but Maguba for me!

I'm actually wearing my pair of Maguba silver clogs at the moment. They are so lovely it's unbelievable, and I get asked where I got them everywhere I go. They are slightly on the large side, so it might be worth sizing down, or being prepared to return for another size if they don't fit (I was too impatient and couldn't wait to get them on my feet, alas).

Try Sanita Clogs. Just google that and you'll get their website. They have LOADS of colours and styles. I don't think they do mail order but they can tell you who stocks them I think. I have 3 pairs of their clogs and they're lovely.
