Ripped jeans

I'm clueless when it comes to fashion so please bear with me.

What do people think of ripped jeans? I'm sure I've heard that there are some who pay £££ for jeans with ready-made rips. Am I right or was that back in the 80s?

Anyway. I have ripped my favourite pair of jeans. It's a nice neat tear across the thigh.

Will I look like a tramp if I wear them or not??

Depends what you wear them with. I like ripped jeans and intend to wear mine a fair bit when the weather perks up again. This stylist wears hers a lot (she also styles for Red magazine)

I quite like them but I don't think her shoes are right with them. IMHO tight jeans look better ripped.

If you are Italian, you can be a grandmother and wear ripped jeans. A leathery tan is a mandatory accessory. Emulate Donatella and you are on your way.
