I need a moisturiser that doesn't leave me with an oil slick above the eyebrows. All the oil control things seem to be aimed at teenagers which I am most certainly not. Don't mind spending a bit, have been a sworn Clarins girl up til now!

you could try a primer?

you need oil. Believe me, I have oliy skin and have tried everything. all those mattifying things just dry your skin out, making it produce more grease - get yourself this one:

You can get a mattifying gel from MAC which you can put under your make up to absorb oil and act as a barrier between your skin and your foundation. You can also use it on top of foundation if you need to top up the effects later in the day. It doesn't stop your skin producing oil it just absorbs it and also stops light reflection as it is a silicone product and matte as you apply it.

I tried that Dr Haushka oil and it didn't work for me at all which was a shame. I loved putting it on because it smells amazing but it did my oily skin no favours.
