DS has an Easter bonnet competition (hate that it has to be a competition but I get competitive anyway) I don't really care if I, sorry we don't win, I guess Hmm but I am beyond crap at this sort of thing and would rather DS didn't look like a total numpty, soooooo any ideas? Please.

Oh no. Looks like I'm going to have to be far more creative than i first thought. There is no way I can match THAT amazing hat. Love it. I'm seeing lots of sleepless nights now. Taxidermy maybe?

DS and I once made one with lots of flexible ivy branches (without the leaves) arranged in a circle on a 99p bonnet from poundland. The branches resembled a nest. Inside we placed decorated plastic eggs and the odd chick here and there. If you make it look very organic and earthy you'll end up spending virtually nothing and it will look the most effective. To attach the 'nest' to the bonnet I used invisible thread. He won Grin.

Oh I like it might have to go forage. Sounds a bit like a crown of thorns but with a toxic twist.
