Hey,

I have seen this ring like a million times and I love it so very much.
I really want it..thing is, when DP saw it he suggested it be an engagement ring..
Is it an engagement ring though?Should an engagment ring have diamonds?

What do you think?

It is lovely. Really pretty.

An engagement ring can be whatever you want it to be - it is a symbol of your love and your intention to marry.

Congratulations!

What MmeLindt said!

It can be whatever you want it to be - it's up to you!

Would you rather have a diamond though? (for your engagement ring)

Thanks lads,

Im grand with no diamonds tbh I dont wear jewellry so if I feel comfortable in it then Ill snap it up..I just have visions of people saying eh...thats not an engagement ring!

It looks lovely! Definitely an engagement ring :)
The only concern for me would be that it is a silver band, which is very soft and not very hardwearing, so you may find that the band would need replacing in a few years.

BlingLoving · 29/03/2011 11:47

Oh, I think it looks like an engagement ring. It has diamonds, it's kind of that style. No one could possibly comment it's not an engagement ring. But it could also be a "why the hell not?" ring. Grin

I love it, if you wanted diamonds you could get a jeweller to make one the in the same style but with diamonds instead of CZ, and perhaps with a white gold band...it would be much more £££ though and probably wouldn't look very different!

MrsRyanReynolds · 29/03/2011 15:08

It's quite similar to the "Royal" engagement ring Grin

minibmw2010 · 29/03/2011 16:05

I shouldn't worry about the silver band, I have a Claddagh ring of silver and have worn it every day for 20 years, absolutely nothing wrong with the band. Its very pretty.

Feck it anyway I cant get its now MrsRyanReynolds !!!

Its supposed to be a replica of one Maureen O Hara wore in a film..I suppose Ill have to keep looking!

I agree - it's a bit 'Diana' to me.
