Home spa in pregnancy

I have decided, after 1 day of maternity leave, that a) I'm spending too much time on MN, b) I need some kind of motivation to finish my OU coursework, c) it would be nice to pamper myself before baby arrives and d) it would be nice for DH to come back to a nice looking/smelling and slightly pampered hippo wife.

So bearing in mind that time is not an issue but skin sensitivity is a bit (so natural products appreciated) help me plan a spa type morning/afternoon/whole day which doesn't involve impossible contortions like a pedicure!

I have salt or sugar to make a body scrub, various types of body/massage oil, a couple of face masks, hand creams, nail files and varnish and towels galore!

I would love to sort:
my weird pregnancy induced combination hair (roots which get greasy easily and dry ends)
my slightly puffy hands and feet (don't worry, it's not PE, MW reckons it's just standard water retention)

Tips for making it as nice and spa like as possible appreciated - I'm rubbish at fancy touches although we have some vanilla-type candles somewhere, I think.

Hi Frakk

I like to do a banana mask on my hair every so often and my hair sounds a bit like yours right now.

Banana mask for shining, strong and voluminous hair
Peel 2 bananas and puree them in a blender or mash them with a ford. Pour in a bowl and mix 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Combine all the ingredients. Apply on your hair and leave it for about 30 minutes and wash your hair as normal If you've got an essential oil (safe in pregnancy obviously) add a few drops to take away the mayo smell. I would say Clary Sage, but I know you are keeping your legs crossed right now!!!

While waiting the 30 minutes, soak your feet in a bowl of warm water with some bath oil in it. Will soften any hard skin you have (although, you won't have winter feet like I do right now).

So thats my top and tail top tip!!! :o Enjoy!
